It's a large banner, which contains a background image, text, and call to action button.
The Hero widget used in this tutorial supports multiple slides, allowing you to present multiple messages.
For this tutorial, we’ll be using SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin.
The first thing you need to do is to install the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle from Plugins → Add New, use the search form in the top right of the page to search for SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. Install and activate.
- Go to Plugins → SiteOrigin Widgets and ensure the Hero Widget is activated.
- Navigate to Appearance → Widgets.
- On the left side, locate the SiteOrigin Hero.
- Click on the widget and select the option:Homepage, then click the Add Widget button.
